I’m a British journalist and digital strategist who recently moved to Denver, Colorado, to live with a man I first met at a wedding in Madrid (not my wedding).

Life is all about taking chances, right?

I’m currently freelancing in the US, focusing on media, travel and technology stories for online outlets including Journalism.co.uk, where I was previously technology editor and training programme manager.

I also spent more than five years working in regional news, mainly as a digital editor for the Bristol Post and MNA Media, publisher of the Express & Star.

I am a graduate of City University’s School of Journalism and an awardee of the Guardian’s Scott Trust Bursary.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me with my nose in a book, hiking in the Rocky Mountains or sampling some of Colorado’s fine craft beers. I can also do a few tricks with a hula hoop…
