Maybe you stumbled across this site by accident, or perhaps we once studied together/worked together/struck up a conversation in a crowded public house of an evening and you decided to Google me out of interest, boredom or undisclosed stalker-ish tendencies (if the latter, I’d rather not know about it please).
It’s possible even that you are a potential employer on the verge of offering me a fantastically rewarding and well paid job (and if so, a special *hello* to you).
Either way, I’m Abigail Edge and this is my blog. Hello and welcome.
For those who care to know more, I’m a journalist and recent graduate of City University, London (PG/Dip Newspaper Journalism). I have written for a range of regional and national newspapers, websites and magazines, including The Guardian, who were gracious enough to sponsor my postgraduate studies.
Without wishing to state the obvious, I have a strong interest in environmental issues. (Other interests include backpacking, baking, books and other things not necessarily beginning with the letter ‘B’.) This blog is intended as a sounding board for anyone with opinions on such things. You don’t necessarily have to agree – but why not leave a comment and get involved?
You can also find me here:
Finally, I’m available for freelance work – very good and reliable I am too. For details email me at abigail.edge@hotmail.co.uk.
Thanks for visiting!
